Happy Trolling at Jordanelle

Last Saturday Parker and I made the trek to Jordanelle for some relaxing trolling for the bows and browns. We arrived at the lake around 7:30 about the time the sun came up and were on the water. It was 32 degrees when we launched it didn't warm up till 10 or so.

Fishing started off quick with two on the boat in a matter of minutes, two nice rainbows. We fished our usual patterns and our usual gear with a worm. I trolled a flatfish as well. The fishing stayed relatively lively until 10 am in our first pattern. We caught 3 browns in the same area, on flatfish, worm and squids. Interesting strike pattern for sure.

We fished down into the river inlet and got nothing else after 10 am. We tried more pop gear, rapalas, crankbaits spinners, and spoons and turned nothing. It was great getting out with Parker it has been too long since we got out. He just started a new job as have I and our Saturdays will hopefully be more available.
