Thursday we needed an office day at the lake. We made it on the water by 6:30 and lines out soon after. Jim and Brandon joined me today on the Fish Steeler.
Not long after we drop our lines Brandon hooked into a nice 2.5 lb rainbow trout. Nice way to start off the morning. Soon after that I was on one not quite as big but still a decent sized rainbow trout. Jim had a hard hit but was slow on the draw and missed it. We trolled through out the morning and made our way through a number of lanes to get 9 keepers in the boat and released six or so other small rainbows. We did manage one brown trout not big but it was a brown.
We trolled pop gear and worms and went through the arsenal of colors, styles and depths to find what we did.
