Palisades Reservoir looking for Tigers

Thursday morning came and I didn't have any takers on fishing, so I decided to do my trip that I had planned for Tuesday. I set out a little late but made it to the lake around noon. I was fishing from the bank and knew where I was headed so I didn't feel the need to hurry.

Strawberry Bay Kokanee Fishing

Tuesday morning came around and I didn't have to work, so I planned to go to Palisades and fish a few waters through the Sanpete valley.  As I was leaving for the trip I received a text from my brother Danny Adams, asking me if I could go fishing at Strawberry. Well, I of course said yes, since I have been trying to get with him on Strawberry for years and turned around to prepare for a great day. Met up with Danny and Ryan at 9 am and made our way to Strawberry Lake looking for Kokanee. Danny is a great Kokanee fisher and I want to learn how he targets the Kokanee at the Berry.

Willard Bay, Another Shot

Thursday's with Shifty, we started out at 5 am on the road to Willard Bay in northern Utah. A small man-made freshwater bay on the Great Salt Lake. This was the second try on this lake for me. We arrived at sunrise only to find out that the battery on the boat was dead, literally. I pulled one of the trolling batteries and we got it started and launched.
