White Bass from the Dock

Shifty and I made it to Provo boat harbor and fished the evening bite. This was an impromptu, "Hey let's meet at the Dock!" By the way, this was a couple weeks ago. I know, get yourself busy and keep your BLog up to date. Anyhow, we had a great evening on the docks. The algae bloom was in full force and the fishing wasn't great but the evening was awesome.

The temps were still hot and the water hasn't started to turn over yet. The fish are stacked in the mouths of the river but we weren't on the boat. So we enjoyed the evening on the dock. We threw plenty of different presentations at them to get them to bite. Shifty figured out the lure by going back to his favorite set up with a blue fox and a trailer of the treble. I got into a few on the basic curly tail jig.

The sunset was spectacular. I got a bonus Crappie just as the sun was setting and that wrapped up the evening as the bugs became crazy thick! Shifty headed north and I headed south. Until next time get outside.
