Trail Ride - FR132 Lefthand Fork Diamond Fork Canyon

We have been getting out on the weekends and taking rides on the Outlander. On this trip, we decided to stay a little closer to home. A decision we questioned as we were on the trail. The trail was quite a bit busier than we care. We made our way to Diamond Fork and went up to the parking area for the Left Fork. This should have clued us in when there was a camp trailer parked in the staging area.

We parked and unloaded the Outlander and readied ourselves for the ride. We started up the trail and immediately ran into oncoming traffic. Every pullout spot no matter how large was filled with campers and vehicles. We continued on hoping the farther up we got the fewer people there would be. Not the case but it did thin out a little. We ate more dust on this trip than we like too, plus we had more close calls due to idiots running like they were in Baja 200.......

We made the best of it and found as many side trails as possible. The fall colors are the reason for our rides. We generally travel in the fall to see the colors of fall in the different states. This year we have been stifled by this stupid virus and a couple other issues. We love the colors of fall and like to see as many that we can.

The trail ride was needed to release from everyday stress. We pulled into a meadow and had lunch and relaxed for a while. Enjoyed ourselves and nature. After lunch, we loaded up and headed for the truck. We pulled off on a couple more side trails and made it back to the truck and loaded. It was a good ride just a bit dusty and crazier than we hoped for. The next trail will be a bit farther from civilization...hahaha
